Fawn Mckay
Fawn McCay Brodie, birthplace at Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Fawn MacKay, who was a member of the Mormon Church's original family, applied her brilliant writing skills as well as her impressive researching skills to write the psycho-historical biographies about Joseph Smith. The book, The book, No Man has a clue about My History was published in 1945. The title came from a funeral sermon given by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844, when he shocked those he addressed with the words"You don't know me" and you've never known my heart. My history is unknown to anybody. It is not possible for me to tell you. Fawn, a 29-year-old woman said: "Since that moment of candor, at least three writers have picked up the challenge." There are some who have tried to make a clinical diagnosis. The documents aren't insufficient however they do have a lot of contradictions. It's a daunting job to find these records and separate first-hand stories from third-hand copies and fitting Mormon stories with other ones to form a cohesive mosaic. This is both exciting and instructive. Fawn Brodie's career was committed to this cause. Thaddeus Steves was a world celebrity as a result of her work in research as well as her work.
