Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British singer and composer who is regarded as being a part of the band One Direction. His parents were Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on the 1st of February, 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where as well as three of his classmates He formed his own group, White Eskimo. They took home the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing performance. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles join a future band that would be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that formed in the year 2010. The group sang the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. As a result, they made it to the finalist. But they finished placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell were not able to win the competition. But Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million pound contract to sign up with Syco.
