Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. Paquin is a native of Canada and actress from New Zealand. Born in Winnipeg however, she was raised in Wellington, she was the first actress to appear on screen in The Piano. In this romance film, at the age of eleven years of age, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th July 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. In response to an audition Flora McGrath was cast as the daughter of a Scottish pianist. Flora McGrath is the daughter of the mute Scottish musician, who emigrated from Scotland to New Zealand to marry in the 19th century. In her teens, she moved from New Zealand to United States. Paquin was in a brief role in the role of Jane Eyre's title character while she was still a kid on Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996) and a lead part in the movie Fly Away Home (1996). Paquin played Frankie Addams from a television film adaptation of Carson McCullers' book The Member of the Wedding (1997). Paquin was a part of the supporting cast in Princess of Spain Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997. She played teenagers as part of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and portrayed the Polexia Aphrodisa girl as part of Almost Famous (2000).
